For an international client in the South of the Netherlands, we are searching for a
MANAGER FINANCE
For this growing and investing international specialty chemicals company we are looking for a Manager Finance with the following main duties and responsibilities.
As Finance Manager you and your team (9 persons) will be responsible for the following activities:
– Full accounting for branches in The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany (5 in total) covering both manufacturing and
sales activities;
– Supply Chain Finance for 2 additional production entities in the UK and the US;
– Item master data for 8 different entities including regular costing updates and variance analysis for these entities;
– Drive the annual budget process and standard cost calculation for Supply Chain in the production entities;
– Initiate payroll in Belgian and German entity and process these, as well as the payroll for the Dutch entity, into the
general ledger;
– VAT statements in The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and France;
– Work closely with the Controllers team based elsewhere in The Netherlands;
– Treasury and insurance, including pensions;
– Work with audit teams for quarterly and annual audits up to statutory accounts and income tax statements for the
Dutch, German and Belgian entities;
– Participate in various projects;
– Drive continuous process improvement in procedures, control and reporting and the utilization of the ERP system in
line with the goals of other stakeholders;
– Communication: participate in management meetings, optimize communication to internal and external contacts,
including other company entities;
– Inspire the Finance team to deliver within legal and company planning cycle deadlines.
We are looking for a motivated and ambitious person with:
– Education on college or university level Business Economics / Accounting;
– At least 5 years management experience within preferably various international production /logistics entities;
– Several years of experience with the accounting side of ERP-systems (SAP/QAD or other);
– Ability to communicate at all levels and with various functions inside and outside the organization;
– Excellent knowledge (verbally and in writing) of the English language. Good knowledge of French and/or German is
an advantage;
– Eager to handle accounting and finance in multiple countries;
– Willingness to travel.
