Specialist in heat exchangers for Bulk Solids

Founded under the name Bulkflow Technologies in 1999, Solex Thermal Science has installed more than 400 heat exchangers in more than 43 countries world wide. The company holds the patents to its exclusive heater, cooler and dryer technologies designed specifically for use with free flowing bulk solids such as sugar, fertilizer, chemicals, plastics, biosolids, minerals, and many other types of grains, crystals and powders. The original cooler technology was invented more than twenty years ago, and acquired by Solex in 1999. The company’s strength is in the rich knowledge and experience of its people. Expert staff are located internationally to provide worldwide sales and technical support to customers.

The Challenge
As a member of the Europe and International Sales Team, the Technical Sales Engineer will support customers and potential customers within Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. You will Identify opportunities where Solex solutions will assist our customers and provide thorough analysis, develop quotes and technical options to meet customer needs.

The Ideal
A Mechanical and/or Process Technology background with a bachelor or master degree and a minimum of 8 years extensive Engineering and Business experience. In-depth Heat transfer knowledge and a process engineering background would be an asset. An entrepreneur, with affinity for process installations and solution based selling. Commercially and customer oriented with very good social and communicative negotiating skills. Creative thinking for technological solutions and commercial compromises. Representative and result oriented. Flexibility, ability to adapt to different cultures. High level of independence there you will be working from your home office with a traveling percentage of +/- 30%. Decisiveness and determination, and off course a good control of the German and English language, Spanish language capability would be a significant asset.
